Kills more germs than sanitizers

Disinfecting works by using chemicals, heat or other processes to kill germs on surfaces or objects. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, and requires a pre-cleaning step to remove gross dirt build up before disinfection to allow full contact with the disinfectant.

It’s important to note that the term “disinfecting” is regulated by the EPA. In order to be registered as a disinfectant, the product has to go through significant antimicrobial testing and meet rigorous germ-killing standards. There are 3 EPA classes of disinfectants, limited spectrum disinfectant, broad-spectrum disinfectant, and hospital disinfectants.

👉 Always Clean First

Before you expose a surface to a disinfectant, always clean the surface of all debris first – a commonly skipped – but very important step. As mentioned above, the process of cleaning can start to reduce germs by removing dirt, grime, and residue that can harbor bacteria and viruses, but it does not reduce the germ-load to the 99.9% level. Once a surface is clean, the disinfectant will be able to do its job.

Remember: you always want the disinfectant to come into contact with 100% of the surface, otherwise it won’t be as effective.

  • No – we do not require anyone to be present during the service. Clients are welcome to provide us with a key for safekeeping, leave a key, lockbox code/door code or garage access. We will ensure to lock up upon completion of your service.

  • Disinfectant Service - Minimum charge (up to 1500sqft). Additional charge per square foot over 1500sqft.

    Window Cleaning – We require a physical inspection in order to quote this work.

    Real Estate and Deep Cleaning - Since we normally quote you site unseen for real estate and deep cleaning, we will provide an estimate based on the time it would take to clean a typical home plus any extra requests. We do have a minimum charge for each booking depending on the service(s) requested.

    Our quote provides an estimate and range of time for all our services. If we believe there will be additional charges above the quote provided, we will get your authorization before proceeding. Things that could impact the pricing are clutter, pets, frequency of deep cleanings, lifestyle and additional requests after quote.

    If we clean the home in less time than estimated, you will only be charged the time we were there or our minimum charge.

    Maintenance Cleaning (coming soon) – If you haven’t had a professional cleaning within the last two months, we recommend a deep cleaning first. After this time, we can offer a maintenance cleaning package based on your frequency and size of home. If you have been maintaining your home, we would require meeting with you to discuss your needs and frequency of cleaning. At this time, we could offer you a quote.
